When in doubt, get out!

One of the good methods a trader can follow to get out of an uncertain trade.

Many traders become clueless when they are uncertain about a trades direction. When you confront such situation, immediately realize what percentage of your trades were winners? For example, if you have had about 40% winning trades, ask yourself a question. What percentage of your trades were winners when you were uncertainty. Chances are that you would have none, if you have had the right observations of such situations.  It is very clear that when you are uncertain, you are bound to loose in that trade. So, it will be a wise decision to get out of the position and limit the risk on your capital.

If a lion hunting for its prey realizes that the prey is bigger and stronger than him, he retreats immediately. Such decision allows him to survive to hunt again another day. So, when in doubt, get out.
